Ruunaja: It's a Trap

"Now I was alone... No brothers to play with... No future to behold. I had only my father... Teridax. "Well done" he whispered "you have chosen wisely. Now you may live on in peace and prosperity." He then unveiled a bizarre staff from his back, as he offered it to me. -sigh- I could feel the power soaring within, as he said "And now, my son. You shall receive the staff of shadows" I crept my hand forward, reluctantly taking his staff, and holding it within my grasp. And then suddenly... The staff shook, and the central part opened, unleashing a swarm of shadow leeches, covering me all over, consuming my light force. It was a TRAP! I screamed in agony, hoping that someone might hear me and help, but I only heard the treacherous laughter of my father."

wanted me to draw his Moc Ruunaja. [link] At first I wasn't sure how I should draw him, but when I read his story, I got the inspiration to do this scene. Listening to Two Steps From Hell really put me in the dark and tragic mood and it made me fell sorry for the poor toa.


BTW, look a this piece while listening to Nightwish's Poet and The Pendulum at 6:19, or the piano version of Numb. Both bring out the emotion of this piece and really make it look like he's suffering.
