M.I.A.: What Have I Become?

This was a piece I was really excited about. However it was a struggle all the way. I tried several poses. I wanted him to be on his hands and knees looking into his reflection, but that didn't work. I eventually went with this. Then there was the problem of background. I actually was in the middle of a forest scene when I decided to scrap that and go fir a more barren, shrub-coversd scene and have cooler colors. THen theres the fact that I drew him in his actual colors instead of trying to make it blue. It took me a while to figure out how to filter it to make it look like its night time. On top of that I had to balance light and color. Usually I focus on one and forget the other.
